My love for astronomy began the first time I gazed up at a starry sky. That moment changed my life and set me on a path toward a career in science. I spent years teaching high school Chemistry and Physics, always finding ways to weave astronomy into my lessons.

One day, at a science conference in Milwaukee, I had the pleasure of meeting Michelle Thaller, a research astronomer and the public outreach lead for the Spitzer Space Telescope. Her passion for astronomy and teaching inspired me to develop an Astronomy course, which I taught for several years. During that time, my interest in astrophotography blossomed as I built the course curriculum.

Today, I spend my time traveling and capturing the beauty of the night sky with my telescope. I created this website to connect with people I meet along the way and to share my photos and experiences. My hope is to inspire others to explore the wonders of the universe and deepen their appreciation for science.
