My love of astronomy started the first time I looked up at a truly dark, star-filled sky. From that night on, I was hooked. I spent much of my career teaching high-school Chemistry and Physics, two subjects that turned out to be the perfect foundation for understanding the universe.

A turning point came when I met Michelle Thaller, an astronomer and science communicator with NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope, whose energy and insight inspired me to create my own Astronomy course. That’s where my fascination with astrophotography really took off.

These days, I travel across the Southwest with my telescope, capturing the beauty of the night sky and sharing those images here. My goal is to help others discover the same sense of wonder that’s kept me looking up all these years.
